1. All comments are assessed for appropriateness before posting to this blog so please read the guidelines below. Your comments are not posted automatically.

2. This site is not intended to belittle anyone or anything, but rather it has been established to communicate thoughts among the community, parents, and Portland Middle.

3. Posting your name is optional especially when personal issues are posted.

4. An account is not required to post.

5. You may be critical but please be constructive.

6. It’s a good idea to leave your posts free of subjective emotion. Otherwise, you are just sending me a nasty email that I won’t post.

7. State only facts that you know first hand. We get enough of “he said, she said” with our students.

8. Be objective and post with a spirit of helping to improve Portland Middle School.

High Attendance at Parent University

This year's Parent University was a success this semester. The sessions included internet safety, talking to your teens about alcohol, and communication in general.
